About
I am Kay Lera. I have been an educator since 1991 serving in many roles. I enjoyed classroom teaching for 12 years (K-3).  Upon leaving the classroom environment, I became and educational technology integration coach and that is my current role. Lastly, I am serving as an adjunct professor for James Madison University in Virginia.
I hold certification to teach grades kindergarten through sixth. I hold a Masters in Education, with an emphasis on Educational Technology, degree from James Madison University in Virginia, USA. I hold certifications as a Master Teacher for the National Teacher’s Training Institute,  a NETS-T educator and a licensed teachers grade NK-6.
I hope to document my successes, challenges and trials as an instructional technology coach. Feel free to provide me with critical criticism, teachings ideas… your thoughts in general!
